Right, I finally got down to blogging about my commencement. There is really nothing much to it although it would be a rather happy occasion if not for the LOSS OF MY PHONE + POUCH!!!
That is the highlight of the day. I lost my trusty Samsung Omnia and my pouch which included an ezylink which is GIRO-linked (can you imagine if someone tap it all over Singapore???!!!!) and my license to auntie-ness – Metro member card (by the way, its my mum’s :S). Although, other than calling for cancellations and getting cards replaced, there isn’t much trouble but it is still rather traumatizing to me.
Because…
It’s the first time I lost my mobile phone in 20 odd years!!!!!!!!
I still couldn’t believe that I actually lost it. Sigh… I am getting old and forgetting things, thus, I forget to look out for my phone and pouch before alighting from the damn shuttle bus! Okay, I shall stop complaining since I didn’t suffer much except for the loss of Omnia.
Before the pictures, I really want to thank GOD that my house keys, dior gloss and ettusais lip repair were all in my bag instead of their usual home – my pouch. I would have lost them too if they were in the pouch and the loss of house keys is the worst! My parents are sure to make a hell out of my life.
Right, pictures.
I looked SUPER fat and round with that gown and mortarboard! Yuckz! While everyone else looked pretty… :(
Dinner at Bosses restaurant @ Vivocity with Isaac’s and my families. We were given a table with a great view of Resorts world and the Star Virgo that was at the harbor.
A day after commencement at Panini Café @ UOB Plaza. Since I was ranting on and on to Isaac about dressing up and going out just to get the stupid replacement sim card from Starhub (there are only 4 customer service centres and all are located in town), Isaac suggested that I meet him for lunch at UOB Plaza and he can accompany me to collect the new sim card. Seriously, I am gonna switch to Singtel or M1. Starhub’s customer care isn’t even up to mark with her competitors.
Singtel
Isaac said that when he lost his mobile in the past, Singtel got someone to deliver the new sim card to his doorstep.
M1
When my sister lost her mobile a few years back, M1 delivered the new sim card to my dad’s office (since the line was under my dad’s name then).
Starhub
Get your own ass to our customer service centre for the card! Blame it on yourself for losing it and the need for all these troubles! :P
See the difference in service?
I am so gonna kick Starhub away!
